It’s All About Respect 2.0 is the whole program: nine modules on workplace conduct, covering sexual harassment, other harassment, bullying, fairness, diversity and inclusion, gender identity and unconscious bias. Most of them are presented on camera by employment lawyers at Ogletree Deakins. Buy licenses once for your team and hand out one company code instead of a list of names. A learner’s certificate is issued when they complete a module.

Licenses and access

One license covers one person for the whole program. Licenses never expire until they are activated. Access runs for 12 months from the day a license is activated, the same policy as Special Learning’s own courses. Retail is per license. Organizations: volume pricing applies from 10 licenses, larger orders are quoted on inquiry, and the whole team is set up under one company code. See organizational pricing.

The modules

Every module is included. Open one to read what it covers.

  1. Sexual Harassment (Employee) (about 30 minutes)
For employees learning to recognize and respond to sexual harassment at work.
  2. Supervisor Supplement (about 30 minutes)
Supervisors are held to a higher standard, and this course is about what that means when something happens on your watch.
  3. Avoiding Other Types of Harassment (about 12 minutes)
Harassment is not only sexual, and this course covers the rest of it: conduct aimed at veteran status, religion, ethnicity, disability, age and gender, with the point made up front that everyone falls into several protected categories simply by being human.
  4. Bullying (about 9 minutes)
Bullying creates a hostile and offensive workplace the way harassment does, and this course is careful about where it sits in law: bullying as such is generally not unlawful, and California was the first state to define it at all, as abusive conduct.
  5. Diversity and Inclusion (about 19 minutes)
This course separates two words that get used as one.
  6. Gender Identity and Transgender (about 5 minutes)
A short, practical course on working respectfully with transgender colleagues, told mostly by a trans woman describing her own experience rather than by a lawyer describing a policy.
  7. Fairness (about 25 minutes)
Most people can name a few employment laws and cannot tell you what any of them require.
  8. Unconscious Bias (about 26 minutes)
This course opens with a question most people get wrong, and then explains why.
  9. Bystander to Upstander: Practical Intervention (about 8 minutes)
A short course on everyday workplace bullying. The boss who yells, the colleague who is relentlessly critical, the group that freezes someone out, the humiliation in front of others. It is assembled from the Bullying course’s own footage, so take it as a short introduction rather than a separate hour.
